When Cape May County was having infiltration problems with a 24 inch diameter storm pipe they called the best pipe lining company in the United States, US Sewer & Drain. The 24inch storm pipe ran from the first street closest to the shore and 560 feet across the pristine beaches of Cape May. The pipe finally terminated fifty feet out into the ocean. Not to mention the county was at its peak tourist season as the beach was filled with sunbathers by day.

The end of the pipe was only accessible at low tides. Meaning that the US Sewer & Drain team would have to work against the clock in order to get the pipe liner into place as well as cure the liner by circulating water at a 190 degree temperature. US Sewer was up to the challenge. When city engineer Kent Schillinger left the site at 8pm on a Sunday evening the crew was still setting up. When he returned by 7am the following morning he seemed to be amazed as he knelt down and looked inside of his newly lined 24 inch by 560 foot pipe. "You guys have done a fantastic job, let me know if you ever need a reference" was one of the last things Mr. Schillinger said as the crew left the site.
