BOSTON MARKET - 2007 INSTALL

When the Boston Market Corporation was experiencing a sewer problem at one of their locations they called US Sewer to diagnose the problem. A US Sewer representative quickly determined that the problem was the 6 inch diameter sewer line running from the building and out to the city sewer main. The cast iron pipe had become so deteriorated that the bottom of the pipe was virtual gone. The challenging part of the job was the fact that this 6 inch diameter sewer line ran directly under the main entrance of the restaurant, under a walkway, through the parking lot and directly underneath of a 30 ft high billboard. Not to mention the downstream portion of the pipe was 18ft deep at the city connection. This job would need “special” attention. Because the host pipe was so badly deteriorated US Sewer decided to utilize its “Pipe Bursting” technique. The US Sewer & Drain team was up to the challenge. Equipment was quickly mobilized and two excavations were made upstream and downstream of this 200 ft long sewer line. The pipe busting unit was dropped into place at the upstream excavation. After proper set up a new “Polypropylene “pipe was pulled through the existing host pipe. New connections were made at the city main to the new pipe. The US Sewer crew Due to the fact the US Sewer & Drain crew worked off hours and through the nights to get the job done the Boston Market was able to keep their doors open with little disruption. Due to the overwhelming success of this job US Sewer & Drain has gone on to perform multiple installations for other Boston Market around the country.
